+1 I'm still getting emails from t14 admissions offices to see them at local law fairs. I think there's a big one at UCLA (one of the biggest LS feeders according to LSAC data) and USC today so I think they'll probably start reviewing after this tour is over.Yeshia90 wrote: I went to an info session over the summer. Better to use your ED on MVP IMOtjtorrence wrote:Hey guys,
I'm thinking of Applying to Columbia ED, but I'm not sure if it's worth it because of my numbers.
I'm 3.55/170, below both Medians. However, Columbia has always been my absolute dream school. I have decent softs but nothing spectacular. A 30 hr/week internship at the Department of Justice, and at least one really great letter of rec. My PS is strong, and I would be sure to speak about my strong desire to attend there for multiple reasons.
Can anyone speak to my chances ED? LSN doesn't seem to be too hopeful, 95% of people with my numbers are waitlisted or rejected. But maybe there's some sort of hope?

Sorry for posting similar question I am very confused...
I've been looking over Columbia App and under Education it asks if your academic year has been interrupted for any reason. BUT it does not ask you to provide any supplementary explanation for it.
Should I include the addendum for taking year off or not??
Also, is it too late to submit ED application??
The information section says that I want to have few weeks for LSAC to prepare law school report.
Does it mean once I submit my application it is going to take several weeks for columbia to have it completed?? So is it too late for ED??? I'm panicking..

Did you call?
To me it seems like the underlying meaning is to call if you have questions.

Is there any indication when they receive your ED form by snail mail?
I don't know if I should call to make sure they got it, or just trust that they did?

You mean if the subtext that says something about how ED applicants need to send the separate form goes away (now it says something about RD applicants), then I'm good?law2015 wrote:You can just wait and when you go complete you will know that they got the ED contract.jellybean8 wrote:Is there any indication when they receive your ED form by snail mail?

I remember the status checker saying that if you applied ED, your application will not go complete until they have your ED contract. I think you are good. I also applied ED, hoping for some luck this cycle.

Is it too late to apply ED?
If I submit it now and I go complete after the deadline(11/15), do you know if it is considered too late and passed the deadline?

Pretty sure you'll be fine if you submit now as long as it is before the 15th.bpatient3 wrote:Is it too late to apply ED?
