Yep, that's the one! Small world, I guess.snehpets wrote:Mine came in a big white envelope. One of those post office ones that are weird and puffy. Neither were for me, of course. I thought white envelopes were reserved for rejections/wl's, but these looked pretty thick. Has anyone received an acceptance in a color other than vomit?

Re: Columbia c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
Complete then nothing. The status checker is pointless. Generally dings come in late march or April (I think) by mail, waitlists happen from now on, usually in big waves, by email. The only other thing that might happen is a hold, though that's unlikely if you've just applied. That would come by email. If none of those things happen you just have to wait for the mail. They just started releasing decisions on 1/26ish. I don't think any January submits have gotten in yet. Once they do it'll be easier to gauge when you might hear back.legalabogada wrote:Hi everyone. There are 103 pages would someone mind a quick update on how it usually works at Columbia. complete...then?

Re: Columbia c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
what does the hold email say? as opposed to the reserve email?
I'm a bit confused on the difference.
Reserve=destined for rejection (anyone know past year percentages?)
Hold= Will actually be rereviewed later in the season?

EDIT: love your major; any particular specialization? One of my majors was classical art and architecture.

I really wish I had it in me to withdraw and just count the chickens I already have. Alas, I feel like I must see this through despite the nerves.

I'm on reserve. Going off of sheer numbers, I should have been rejected.

Me too. It also seems like I've gotten at least an VCE sized envelope every day recently.lawschool899 wrote:me!countercouper wrote:How many of you guys are still waiting for a decision?
