Based on how all is going indicating applications being down, I would definitely say yes if you can scrounge up 16 bucks. If your numbers are low and your softs are weak, then it might not be worth it if you don't want to roll the dice, but if you have good numbers and softs/ think you would be a compelling candidate, certainly. Though, if living in NYC is not something you want, then I wouldn't either. That was, personally, my biggest concern applying ( I am ED-deferred to RD)Byzantine wrote:just got a fee waiver from Columbia. Wasn't going to apply but now... is it to late to get in with a at least $$?
Because apps are down, I think some of the whole warning about applying late has become less applicable. I wouldnt wait too much longer though.
Aside from a couple of schools in particular (I think just UVA/Mich from T14), not a lot of money has gone out, none that I can recall hearing about from Columbia. Since so many HYS numerically qualified people apply to CLS, they probably save it for people they are competing for. So, again, if you would have qualified for cash if you applied in October, I would offer that you chances might not be significantly dimished.
