This has probably been asked and answered before but does Columbia have a week coming up where historically they've released a bunch of decisions? When do most people hear by? I think I have very little chance but then I'd just like to get dinged and get the waiting over with.

Historically on LSN it's been this week or thereabout, but common sentiment predicts a slightly later release date on VCEs ( Bomit colored acceptance envelopes)

Acceptances probably in the mail now or very shortly, but dings and waitlists come later in February and also via USPS.

I am already scouting/stalking my mailbox! Hoping for today, but I'm thinking tomorrow or Thursday is much more likely.

Me! I work 930-530, but am having my roommates obsessively check the mailbox for me. I'm already getting so nervous.. this week is going to be a stressful one.

My productivity will be over once the first VCE is reported. I almost don't want it to come...

yeah, and I don't go home every day, so I'm totally gonna be a goner!!!!!!!!!

When they start arriving, people need to post withing a three to five state area of where they live so we can get a geographical understanding of what to expect.

Also, remember that they don't necessarily all come at once, so if you don't get one in the first few days, it's not over yet!!!

I find the VCEs less stressful than the Chicago/NYU calls were since I know I can't expect anything at work. Knowing I need to wait until I get home means I don't tank my productivity as much as I did waiting for calls.

I just compulsively text my mother who can barely text back until she checks the mail starting around 1 (mail doesn't come til 3, but what if it comes early one day?!) :)

The way to get around this of course is to give Columbia your work address 8)

I'm almost certain to get dinged, and I live a few blocks away from the campus. I'll let y'all know when the letter arrives.

Do we think that decisions are coming for everyone that's complete as of the new year or is there a cut-off for this first round?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
