My app is complete (a couple days ago, I think) and I just got a pretty brochure in the mail from Columbia.

Now I want to be in their brochure with a picture and a quote! "Columbia was full of inspiring and rewarding experiences." - Freestallion '15

My apologies in advance if this is a stupid question.

I'm in the process of applying to Columbia, and under the 'Instructions' part of the LSAC application the following are listed as required 'Supporting Documents:'

•Biographical Information Sheet
•Personal Profile Sheet

Is this just Columbia's weird way of referring to the 18 sections of the electronic application, or are there seperate forms we have to find somewhere and fill out?

Weird, got this email from CLS:
Thank you for your interest in Columbia Law School. Due to an error in the LSAC application system, we are requesting that you complete a revised Certification Form, which can be downloaded here.

Please download and fill out the form electronically using the same name as indicated on your application. Once you have completed the form, please save and email it to the Office of Admissions at admissions@law.columbia.edu no later than October 14, 2011. This revised Certification Form replaces the one you submitted earlier and serves as the understanding between you, the candidate for admission, and Columbia Law School.

Is it a good sign? Or just a formality? I wonder why they need it by October 14.

Applied last night, got mailer a week ago, same email today. Complete as of a couple of hours ago.

I loved the question: Is Columbia your first choice? I felt like I had to answer yes even it wasn't true...

It's not on the app--only the status checker account set-up

Anyone think we'll get an email from Columbia telling us that they received the revised certification form?

I sent mine in like an hour after they emailed me about it but I have not gotten confirmation that they received my revised form. Should I be worried?

Nah, I don't think there's any reason to be worried yet. I'm sure they just got a large volume of emails and are still sifting through them.

I mean, this has no impact on our admissions. If you filled it out correctly and sent it to the right address, then you did the same thing as everyone else who got a confirmation email

people need to really stop worrying so much....they just revised sth and need to get the peeps who went complete before the change to be on the same boat.

I got confirmation the day after I sent it in, so id wait a little longer..

Lol, now that I've seen what the building looks like, it definitely makes me want to pick NYU over CLS even more ;)
Yeah Columbia's physical structure was disappointing...it looked like a high school with the tile floors and big metal doors.

But it IS Columbia.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
