Out of the people still waiting, how many you went to Ivy/Top 20ish schools? I'm wondering if that might reveal a pattern.

Neither. The people that are STILL waiting to hear a response (no hold/reserve/rejected/accepted).snehpets wrote:in that the people who are on hold went to good schools or the accepts did?WhiteGuy5 wrote:Out of the people still waiting, how many you went to Ivy/Top 20ish schools? Also, sort of went through last year's c/o 2014 and Held thread, and it looks like Held people first started hearing back late March. And they did let in A LOT of people too. So sounds good!

Objectively I understand that's only four weeks, but deep down I feel like that sounds like an eternity.WhiteGuy5 wrote:Neither. While no assumption seems safe with Columbia, would it be reasonable to assume that the silence group will hear before holds, i.e. before late March?

Looking at this group makes me feel incredibly lucky to have been held. Anyone else out there with lower than a 170 LSAT that has been held or accepted?

I think my school is somewhere in the 20s. Not ivy. Not sure if it's relevant to your survey, but I've been out of undergrad for a bit.WhiteGuy5 wrote:Out of the people still waiting, how many you went to Ivy/Top 20ish schools? I'm wondering if that might reveal a pattern.

Not ivy/top 20. Submitted the last week of 2011. Silence.
The only reason it bothers me is because I had a surprisingly quick turnaround from some schools (within a few weeks) and then silence from all the others for a month now. That's a month of saying no every time anyone that I know sees me because they always ask if I've heard back from anywhere else.

I was held by Columbia and admitted to Harvard and Yale last week. A hold at Columbia doesn't predict a thing.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
