Accomplished.

Edit: Jk :P . So far that would be a good indicator, but people are also getting rejections...
My feeling is that as long as rejections/waitlists are being sent out, not hearing anything isn't so bad. But as soon as the next wave of VCE's start landing in people's mailboxes the anxiety is going to ramp back up.
Alrighty, makes sense. Just wait and see, I guess.

Thought this old blog post would be useful for reserve group people:

4. Be logistically and mentally prepared for an offer of admission.
I.e. we will be super pissed if we offer admission and you don't take it :D

Reserved today. You could have told me before I'd made our Valentine's Day reservations Columbia, you heartless vixen.

Submitted in September (<25% LSAT, >75% GPA). I'll wait it out with the rest of you. Le sigh.

Reserved via email yesterday. Submitted Nov, complete Jan (slow LOR). The end of May seems like a forever wait.

I received an email yesterday requesting additional information. Not sure if that is a good thing or a "we want to make sure we ding you for the right reasons".

Haven't heard anything yet. Does anyone know what the deal is if one receives a Hold? I imagine a bit better than Reserve, but does Columbia accept any amount off of their Hold list? Or is it essentially a soft rejection as well?

Pretty sure that's not true. At least according to the admission blog, holds can either be accepted, rejected, or put on reserve.

In today via VCE, complete surprise.

10/26 submitted.
11/2 complete.

LSAT <25% and GPA a bit above 75%. Non-URM.

I never even thought I had a chance and had pretty much assumed I was a waitlist or ding. This is obviously a major game changer and a huge shock for me. I haven't been following the thread, but I hope this gives some hope to people who have not heard anything.

Thank you!

Northeastern/Mid-Atlantic

In response to the softs question: Not that I am aware of, especially in this caliber of applicant pool. Started an organization, from a rural area, worked during and after undergrad in the same research position. I was busy and involved, but I doubt much more than most applicants.

Postmarked the 7th.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
