Any other 1/12 UR dates willing to share their numbers so we can get a better idea of what it might mean for us?

Checking in - still nothing. Either they haven't gotten to the 1/12ers yet or we're not going to be in today's batch (which is weird considering that I'm pretty sure that people who submitted after me have already gotten calls).

Like someone noted above, these folks generally sound like the kind of applicants they give Rubensteins to.

That sounds just dandy. I almost would be willing to wait 2 days to hear if this was the case.

Some of you look like auto-admits. It just seems so unlikely that all of us would end up waitlisted/rejected.
Maybe they are going in order of last UR date and they just haven't got to us yet (and the 1/11s admitted earlier were mistakenly called early).
That's what I'm going to keep telling myself until 5:00 today.

That list looks really strong.

I wonder how many people they're calling. Chicago has about 180 seats, many of which are already taken by EDers. And I'm sure they're going to undershoot by a little (and accept more later in future waves and through the WL). I'm not sure what Chicago's yield is, but I'd guess around 50% (slightly higher than NYU/CLS since Chicago is smaller, but lower than HS). So how many would they be calling today? 200?

Anyone have a guess on when the next batch will come out? After how long it took for this one, I'm worried it could be a while

It does seem kind of weird. It's a mostly strong list and we can't ALL be weirdos with bad softs and bad personal statements, right? I would love to think it's Rubenstein related (and for some of you it might be!) but I don't really think I'm Rubenstein material. Maybe that was just a group they talked about yesterday, some because they were considering them for Rubenstein candidates and some because they were deciding whether to waitlist, accept, reject, etc. I dunno what to think. I'm just anxious for them to go ahead and send out emails.

Sports- Last year the next batch was a month later I think.

My stats: 174/3.7, 1/12 under review

I don't think I'm in the running for a huge scholarship, but it looks like being a 1/12 puts one in good company.

Snehpets, being at or above both medians gives you decent chances at a big merit scholly at any school. I wouldn't count you out of the Ruby shortlist!

You should send them a pic of your avatar. Points for adorableness.

Did they tweet last year when they were done calling?

Are you above either 25th? You totally don't have to answer, just curious bc of the way you worded it.

I don't think there were calls for a while now so I think they are done.
