Don't they usually start sending off decisions in the early afternoon though?

For what it's worth, I went complete at the end of November and my status hasn't updated past my initial UR. Maybe the end of the week so that they can get through the rest of us in November? I doubt it, I think they just meant "end of november more or less."

Last year they tweeted something along those lines on 1/6. Then updated on 1/10 that they were going to be making calls. So I guess we'll see.

Also, as someone pointed out earlier there was a weekend between those dates last year...

I don't think the actual dates are important. You should count by weeks (i.e they released decisions on the third Tuesday of January). The holidays and the change in weekend dates can have a big effect on how much progress they've made.

Checking in with a 1/9 update as well. Does chi usually give out RD decisions the same time as Columbia or a bit earlier?

Last year it was a couple of weeks earlier. I think that's been an ongoing trend, but I'm not sure.

Looks like it's not happening today. For ED decisions in December, a tweet was posted at around noon and decisions came shortly after

Second UR today, 1/10. Complete at very end of November. If there's any truth to the "we're working on a big batch of applications complete sept through the end of november" thing maybe they finished up with the complete at the end of november people today and will be doing something tomorrow? That or they're moving a bit more quickly on the apps submitted later, making the UR dates close together. either way, hope you guys on 01/09 hear something tomorrow at least!

Man, days like this, where we think we might hear something and then don't, are the worst to wait through. Hopefully there aren't too many more of them.

I dunno if you saw, but the other day I posted that I submitted 1/14 because i'm a moron and didn't catch it till later. I actually submitted 11/14 and JUST went under review for the first time 01/06. If I remember correctly you submitted a few days after. I bet after they get this big batch out you'll go under review!
