They tweeted when they were done with ED calls.
Only after they had finished emails for RD last year.
Thanks... this is not a fun wait at all! :|

I wonder how many people they're calling. Chicago has about 180 seats, many of which are already taken by EDers. And I'm sure they're going to undershoot by a little (and accept more later in future waves and through the WL). I'm not sure what Chicago's yield is, but I'd guess around 50% (slightly higher than NYU/CLS since Chicago is smaller, but lower than HS). So how many would they be calling today? 200?
For what it's worth, Chiacgo's yield is much lower than that. They get roughly 5000 apps and their acceptance rate is 18%, so their yield rate has to be ~20%

Are you above either 25th? You totally don't have to answer, just curious bc of the way you worded it.

I'm above the LSAT 25th but below the GPA

Hate to burst people's bubbles, but Mum didn't get a Ruby invite, did she? (Are we sure they happen at the same time as your call?)

That's kind of surprising. With a class size of 180, I would have guessed they were accepting maybe 300 people or so, not ~900.

You're right, yankees, my mistake. So they could be calling a lot of people today. And since ED admits have a yield of almost 100%, RD admits might have even lower yield (though not much lower, since ED admits aren't too numerous).

THIS is surprising, even I had to have known it was the case. I guess Chicago doesn't YP after all?

I'm starting to think I have a better chance of breaking my F5 key than getting an acceptance call today.

No, they do them later, to my knowledge.

Email confirming admission to Chicago. Sorry, this might be bad news for those still waiting for a call today.

So, today was 1/09 updates? We think they probably didn't get to 1/12 updates....what about 1/11?

So, given the minimal number of calls for mid-November completes and onwards, can we expect to be in the next batch, whenever that is? At this point I just hope I don't get any e-mails tonight, fearing the worst.

Yeah, a few 1/11s got in. Not sure if all of 1/12 is WL/Reject or they're just not going to hear today. Hopefully they'll send out the emails soon...

Seems to me complete date matters more than UR date?
