I wonder how many people they're calling. Chicago has about 180 seats, many of which are already taken by EDers. And I'm sure they're going to undershoot by a little (and accept more later in future waves and through the WL). I'm not sure what Chicago's yield is, but I'd guess around 50% (slightly higher than NYU/CLS since Chicago is smaller, but lower than HS). So how many would they be calling today? 200?

For what it's worth, Chiacgo's yield is much lower than that. They get roughly 5000 apps and their acceptance rate is 18%, so their yield rate has to be ~20%

That's kind of surprising. With a class size of 180, I would have guessed they were accepting maybe 300 people or so, not ~900.

You're right, yankees, my mistake. So they could be calling a lot of people today. And since ED admits have a yield of almost 100%, RD admits might have even lower yield (though not much lower, since ED admits aren't too numerous).

Yeah, a few 1/11s got in. Not sure if all of 1/12 is WL/Reject or they're just not going to hear today. Hopefully they'll send out the emails soon...
