I just nearly had a heart attack when I saw an email entitled Harvard Law School in my inbox. Instead of an interview request it was a letter from the Harvard BLSA encouraging me to apply. That was just cruel

When I got that email this morning, I was on the bus to work. Not only did I miss my stop, I had to work in a library database for two hours while waiting to get back on TLS! Yeesh! Congrats to the others who got the email today. Don't worry if you didn't yet, I'm sure it just takes time to schedule all of them

Can someone please help me understand whats going on.

My Application went "under review" early-mid last month. It was complete mid-late October. I received my application complete email about a week ago.

I did not receive a KB/JR1. Was my application in within the time period where I would have if my numbers were right etc?

I have a GPA near Median and and LSAT below 25th but I am URM.

Any wisdom would be appreciated.

I just called them to ask, and they said they will send out more. They said they are not interviewing the WLs first.

Obviously they will send out more, I'd just be a little less of a stressball today if I knew if they were going to send out more in the next two hours or over the next two weeks. The latter, I'm sure of, it's the former that has me refreshing my email at unhealthy rates.

Sometimes. Like right now. I hate the info TLS supplies me. I was perfectly happy just waiting. Now I'm super anxious.

As an "experienced" applicant, my advice is to relax. I started out like you last cycle, neurotic, refreshing my e-mail every few minutes etc. and then gone full-blown crazy and got all people to hate me. You wouldn't want that

Hmm...I'm actually going to be in Boston tomorrow. Would be nice to get it on the way there....

Edit: Yes, this means I've pretty much given up hope for today.

Since no one has posted it yet:

Thanks for applying to Harvard Law School!

I just read your file and would like to set up a phone interview with you. Our interviews are relatively informal - I'm hoping to have a brief conversation with you about what you're interested in and why you think Harvard Law School could be the best place to pursue those interests. For more information on the phone interview process, you can check out a recent blog post on this topic: --LinkRemoved--

I'll plan on giving you a call between X. I'll use the number you listed with your present mailing address on your application. If this number won't work or if the time is completely unworkable for you, please reply to this e-mail and we'll reach out to coordinate.

I look forward to speaking with you!

Best,
Karen

How are people preparing?

I'm sure they'll ask why you want to attend Harvard, but anyone ahve any other ideas on the questions typically asked?

Why Harvard
Why Law
Some question about your resume

That's been the standard in the past

I'm guessing post-5pm we can expect an end to any emails for the day? Knowledge of this site has made me way more interested in my email!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
