I just checked in after an hour long meeting expecting a bloodbath. Instead I find a circus.

What time did you receive the email? I am curious if they come out simultaneously in batches are if they trickle out through the day.

I received it 11:30 a.m. MST.

I think part of law school prestige comes from having an unpredictable admissions process, and Harvard was falling behind Yale and Stanford.
Waitlisting people after rejecting them, and interviewing people who have withdrawn is a pretty good way to shake things up.
I predicate some post acceptance rejections just to ensure that no mind is left unblown.

My hold email said that the vague "Late spring" is when they'll let us know. Does anyone know if Harvard's last day is actually today?

Historically, yes, decisions have been out by May 1st. This being said, they're under no formal obligation to give all decisions by May 1st. Who knows what's going on at this point.

Waitlisted this morning.
This brings my cycle to an end. Well, other than waiting on Harvard and Stanford's waitlist to progress...

for all those interested in what happened to sn20 (the guy who got rejected then WL). He did not in fact get on the waitlist. HLS made a mistake. I'm posting this on behalf of him because

1) I know him IRL/friends with him

2) he's still crying/drinking hysterically his sorrows away

I was indeed curious about him, and I'm sorry to hear that this did not turn out in his favor.

If I remember his cycle, I believe he has some good places, and some waitlists, so I hope all turns out well for him.

so cruel. HLS should have had to admit him after that mistake.

Out of curiosity... What does the bold font at the bottom of everybody's status checker read?

Do you mind me asking when you interviewed? As in, was it a combined KB1/KB2 as some people have had in past years, or did you interview earlier this week? And congratulations!
