With a KB1 this late, I'd say you're almost certainly getting a call back this week. It is in the bag. Just relax, chit chat, and wait for the KB2.

Wrong. Don't be complacent.

Don't stress. Be articulate/thoughtful in your responses. Don't stutter or act too star-struck. If you've gotten this far, you should know the rest.

True. Make sure you overthink the shit out of this. Focus on not stuttering, for instance, during the interview.

Complacency is a product of ignorance. Confidence begets comfort.

Actually, I tend to be more comfortable when I'm ignorant of something.

How does that negate what I said?

It doesn't. Did my use of the word "actually" confuse you? I concede that I sometimes use it inappropriately.

Love the banter--you guys keep me young. But really, thank you for the words of wisdom. I am the quintessential worry wart, and frankly I wish I could just get this thing over with rather than obsess for the next 45 hours

I'm surprised by the lack of movement today. Someone got rejected yesterday on LSN though. Hmm...

I got the email around 11:30 EDT today. I was held in February. Non-URM. I was not expecting this at all.

Dinged this morning via email :( Well...I did not expect to be admitted, but they could have done it much earlier instead of keeping me stressed for 5 months...

Just finished my JS1. It was WAY less formal than I thought, she asked me about what I've been up to lately and asked if Harvard was still in the running. It clocked in at 11 minutes, and she said she had to go to call a bunch of other people. I really have no idea how it went--I was myself, so if she didn't like the interview then she wouldn't like me! But the good news is she said she'll let me know in the next few days.

So basically there were more KB1s that day in addition to the one you posted...

Well that's made me much less optimistic.

At least you won't be second-guessing your answers for the next few days. You put your best face forward and what's done is done. Good luck! I have a feeling you got this one.

Honestly, I didn't think I had a chance so I didn't think about it. I was never held, and just assumed that the silence meant a ding. But trust me, I'm putting four months of crazy into this wait--however long. (that's the shock face, but it looks crazy to me)
