Re: Harvard 2012 applicants (class of 2015)
I am new to TLS, so please forgive me if this question is redundant. I understand that "splitters" are those applicants are those with low GPAs and high LSAT scores. My question is this: are those applicants with a GPA that lies between the 25th percentile and the median - for Harvard, between 3.74 and 3.88 - and with a high LSAT score also considered splitters? For highly competitive schools like Harvard, is it possible that these applicants are auto-admits if the LSAT score is very high, or are their applications generally held and considered for a longer period of time? Thank you to all of you for all of the help your posting has provided me over the past months and, sadly, years!

I have an excellent chance of NOT getting the JR1. And when they do come, if I haven't gotten the email, it's just going to make me feel bad to read about all of you superstars who got them. I have to admit, it is a relief to come here and see that the 2 new pages are all about legal education and the Paper Chase!

Would a JR/KB1 be likely with a 174/Above Average?

Hard to say, I have a 174/4.0 and I feel like the odds are better than average. I guess that would be a 174/Superior though. Not enough data on LSN for internationals to really tell. I would assume softs would really matter.pineappledazzler wrote:Would a JR/KB1 be likely with a 174/Above Average?

Mine's been complete since 10/24, but they just sent the complete email today. When I saw I got an email from admissions I got excited, then was like 'oh.'arez wrote:Got the complete email today, sent 10/17, UR according to status checker 10/24. so random.

But really, how are they taking so long to start doing JRs? Maybe they are not going to start admitting people before thanksgiving...?
