This. Especially since what I'm doing right now isn't law related. Time to head home and finish preparing.

Good luck JS1 recipients! If JS is wondering where to find more qualified applicants, please point her to this thread!

Haha unfortunately, that didn't quite come up today, but thanks for the well wishes!

I just wanted to post a little bit about my JS1 experience, for people who trawl the thread looking for advice/what to expect.

JS is definitely nice, but I was still nervous and stumbled a bit over my words. Definitely just have a list of bullet points that you want to hit - I prepared a lot of stuff that I didn't end up talking about. Her questions seem to be culled more from your PS/resume. I also had the feeling that having some relevant WE might've helped, which was a bit bad for me. Overall, we talked for about 10 minutes.

I hope this helps, and good luck to everyone waiting to hear from them!

Pretty much.

JS is definitely very nice. I on the other hand, was pretty nervous, I could have definitely done a better job.

It's pretty much all been said before at this point. Go over your resume and be able to talk about it, know what area of law you're interested in and why, etc.

Good luck guys!

Edit: Conversation lasted just under 15 minutes.

Just a few questions

Does anyone have a js1 tomorrow? (cuz if someone does then those of us still waiting don't want to raise our hopes tomorrow)
Also out of those who got js1s who had the latest ur/submission date?

I'm asking this cuz it is possible for there to be both js1s and js2s tomorrow, the chances are slim but we really need some movement in the held thread.

If last week is an indication of how things will work now, I'd expect JS2s and JS1 emails tomorrow, with more JS1 emails on Monday.

Hopefully held applicants get love soon. The js1s could either go out to the remaing batch that applied later in the cycle. Or it could be a mix of everyone.

Read that as "I got a JS1" and had a momentary freak-out for you.
