Also Held... Keeping my chin up though. I have great softs and 5 + years of work experience in non profits. Better than being WL or rejected I guess.

For those of us who submitted mid-October and beyond (as that seems to be the cutoff in the hold/ding decisions thus far) any idea when the next batch will come? I submitted 10/17 and am trying to guage what the timeline will be.

I submitted the first week of October and was in the 10/27 complete email batch. Haven't heard a peep yet. I'm bracing for the inevitable.

+1... Also complete 11/10, wish they'd just put me out of my misery.

Some people who submitted late-October and a couple who submitted early-November have already been rejected according to LSN. I am not sure about the holds. It could be that they're going in waves throughout today. During the last couple of cycles there were a couple of days of rejections and then the holds came the next day, so there could be more dings on the way as well.

PS I was part of the 10/27 batch. submitted early october. Kind of expected something today because HLS adcoms posted a 2 month review period before being rejected, wl'd or held. links to that blog post are pages back.

It seemed like a lot of K-JDs got dinged last week? So maybe WE making a difference? That's the only thing I can think of besides a generic "must have been softs" answer. Especially since my softs are mediocre at best. I'll take it either way.
This is the first time I read the phrase K-JD...and I love it. I'm happy to say I am NOT a K-JD, but you guys are just so cute. ::pinches your cheeks::

WHOA. Did anyone get that e-mail from Akron Law and think it might've been from Harvard? My heart sank for a brief second.

Haha.

Nulli, Harvard will accept you! Just you wait till they're desperate for high LSAT students. I have faith.

I think it'll happen.

BTW for those who were held: last year, Harvard accepted people off the hold list as early as late January.

No hold, no ding, I am also 10/17 submit/10/24 received. I feel like a dodged one bullet, and that many more are right behind it.

Out of curiously, do you know if those were the KB1 -> hold -> KB2 folks? Or were they hold -> January KB1/KB2?

submitted first week of October, complete 10/27 and joining the group in total radio silence. I feel like I'm waiting in line for the guillotine.

I feel like they might be on their lunch break right now....this may explain why the holds paused for a while.

I know of one Jan hold -> mid-Jan JR1 -> late Jan JR2.

Woke up from a nap to hold e-mail.

No KB1, 177/3.8, in ugrad. Expected a rejection because of 10/6 submission, so this is relatively happy.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
