Are there any others from the very first group who haven't heard a thing? I was complete 10/13 and have heard nothing.

NEW TO THE FORUM. Had my KB1 this week, and I think it went well. Looking forward to a KB2 next week!
Anyone else have your KB1 this week? What are people's scores this late in the game?...people who applied right before Thanksgiving?
4.00/173
Applied 11/19
Complete 12/22 (that took a while!)
KB1 email: 1/3

BTW, folks...I've read every post in this entire topic, and I was living everyone's ups and downs. I'm looking forward to meeting all the KB2s at ASW (I have my fingers crossed), and I wish everybody the best of luck who didn't make it in this time.

I'm sorry if this has already been discussed ITT, but is there any pattern to how HLS has been treating multiple LSAT scores this cycle/in general? With my 167 and 173, my high score is at the median, but my average is below the 25th. How do you think this will affect my chances? (GPA is 3.97)

Looks like you applied over the weekend when the LSAC offices are closed. You submitted 11/7 for all intended purposes. Thanks for clarifying! Good luck with everything else btw!paul34 wrote:sorry. What I meant is that I got the app received e-mail on 11/7, but could not remember when exactly I transmitted my application. I should've checked my LSAC account.WhiteGuy5 wrote:the last person to get rejected submitted their app on 11/7 or "thereabouts" -- not sure what paul34 means by that.

I hope it's the previous lack of work experience theory and not averaging LSATs.paul34 wrote:^ Thanks. And you're right - I applied on 11/6. Good luck to you as well!
If Harvard does indeed average multiple LSATs, perhaps that may help to explain some of the high stat rejections we're seeing.

INNNNNNNNNN AT HARVARD!!!
Via email this afternoon at around 3pm.
174/3.95
Submitted mid-Nov
Complete beginning of Dec
KB1 email Dec 23
KB1 in Jan 3
I had been traveling for close to 20 hours and it's been such an ordeal. I get back in the States, check my email as I'm waiting at the luggage claim, and there, I see my KB2, making my exhaustion and frustrations insignificant.
Good luck everyone!

But you also have a <3.5 GPA. ETA: That was for me. I don't expect to get in as I'm 25-median for both.

Ya think? I never expected to actually get in. I'm just trying to provide some information for those who haven't heard anything back yet. Other than Hawkeye it looks like splitters were dinged today, not just people in undergrad or people with multiple LSATs.WhiteGuy5 wrote:But you also have a <3.5 GPA. Trust me dude, my GPA is certainly what dinged me. If I had a 3.9 multiple LSATs would have been meaningless.

Wait...I'm confused...so how would your rejection be bad news to Nelson? The fact that you were dinged with a low GPA doesn't help to answer whether your two LSAT scores were averaged or not. Even with your awesome LSAT score, and their decision not to average, you would've still had a tough shot, ya know?Tiago Splitter wrote: Ya think? I never expected to actually get in. Edit: You would need someone with a reasonable GPA AND 2 scores to be able to make a better determination.
FWIW, Nelson: I don't think Harvard averages, I think they take the highest score. But, as with all the T3s, they can afford not to take an applicant with an awesome LSAT score anyway, so it doesn't help you to have a lesser grade on file.

I was kidding. I read these threads as much as anyone (with a severe TLS problem) does.WhiteGuy5 wrote:Wait...I'm confused...so how would your rejection be bad news to Nelson? Unfortunately for the prognosticators today doesn't tell anyone much of anything. People like Samara and I, cool dudes who found out a bit too late that attending class in college mattered, got dinged. Nothing to see here.

I guess if you submitted in Mid/Earlyish November and before and you didn't at least get a hold, it def doesn't look good.
