So I submitted Jan 20 right before deadline. Still no UR ...Does UR show up on the online status check or as e-mail or both?

I'm guessing since my #'s are below their averages, my pile gets sorted through last?

My boss supposedly is working the inside track for me, but she's 82 so maybe she forgot.

So what does that actually mean? One of my recommenders is well-placed (HLS specific) and I only asked him for the recommendation. I know people talk about a lot of well-connected people getting into Harvard but what does that actually entail in addition to the recommendation.

Unless they're a very famous alum and/or donate a lot of money to the school, there's not much else your recommender can do...

+1. This feels like the time when Katniss is in the trees or Katniss and Peeta are in the cave. Lots of people keep getting killed off and she's/they're just in limbo, waiting to see what crazy thing the game makers are going to come up with next. I'm excited for the movie....it would be great if we get js1/js2s before it comes out...then I enjoy Glimmer's (and many others) demise without thinking about karma
