Nope. I'm a plain jane...errr....joe.
Brb. I think I need to be consoled by LSN's data on Harvard's waitlist movement over the past few years...[/quote]
Was there a lot?

Have most of the new KB1s sent a LOCI?

Were all of today's (reported) KB1 recipients women...?

KB1. Submitted January 6, UR 1/25, complete 2/1, held 3/23. White USA male. Did not submit a LOCI. Can't think of anything else noteworthy to help out.

From a preliminary glance, it appears that all of the KB1's from today have exceptionally high LSATs. Perhaps it is getting to the point of the cycle that they are picking people specifically to try to bump up their medians.

Congrats! But was this just a misnomer or JS came back from maternity leave? Did you mean to say KB1?

Re: Harvard 2012 applicants (class of 2015)
Being deliberately vague here:
KB2 within the last 10 days. Non-splitter, non-URM, never held. Submitted just before Christmas and went complete in mid-January.
Never expected that Yale would get back to me more than a month faster than Harvard (and just six weeks after going complete), but that certainly took all the stress out of this cycle. Yale remains the favorite, but I've definitely warmed up to Harvard in the course of doing a little more intensive research on programs of interest.

Thanks! I've been lurking for quite some time, and I was prepared to do evil things to get a KB1. They emailed me at 3pm Eastern.

KB1 email earlier today. LSAT above 75th, GPA below 25th. Non-URM male.
Under review and complete in October, held two weeks ago. No that's not a typo, for those of you currently sitting in radio silence, don't give up hope!

I guess this round was for high LSATs...
That leaves me not feeling very good.

Haha. I'm in the same boat (higher LSAT than GPA equivalent), so I'm feeling passed over.Elendil wrote:Maybe they'll do high GPA's next...?Doorkeeper wrote:I guess this round was for high LSATs...

Nah I'm kidding. If you're numbers are good for Harvard, worse case scenario they pull you from the waitlist.
