both my gpa and lsat are right around 25th percentile, so i guess that makes me waitlist material at best here? although idk if the system is quite so numbers based for URMs. for example, dani b got kb1 with a high gpa (but not above 75th%?) and sub 25th % lsat. i feel like harvard is more interested in the whole package when it comes to URMs at this point in the game. but i suppose we can speculate until the cows come home...

Maybe they'll do high GPA's next...? :?
Haha. I'm in the same boat (higher LSAT than GPA equivalent), so I'm feeling passed over.

*sigh*

This is what drinking heavily on the weekends was made for...
Hrmm still no interview here either. No idea how many times I've been passed over at this point (complete since October). Another day of people with my rough numbers profile getting interviews has me wondering a bit what went wrong in my app.

Wow, good numbers. Couldn't imagine what has happened. Best of luck.

Thanks - I got good money at all of CCN (and am grateful already to have those options) so I figure I can't have had any serious red flags, but I'm sure schools view things differently. In any case, if it's the WL for me I'm planning to ride it through the end of the summer if need be.

AHHH KB1!!!! I basically follow the trend today of high LSAT's. International non-URM.

i'm totally cool with all these high LSAT applicant KB1's. The more padding at the high end, the more leeway on the low end.

Thanks so much! But you know recently I have come around to NYU's offer, I recognize that I am still very lucky despite the rest of the T6 not liking me too much. Definitely I am grateful for this five-minute window of opportunity and I will try my best to make the most of it.

Quick question: what happens when you're dinged? Does your status changes to "decision letter sent" like Stanford? Or do they email you?

also got the KB1 email on friday! 173 and 3.87....not URM. was never held, applied late jan.

would they bother to interview someone this late in the game then not accept them? don't wanna get my hopes up then be crushed.

In that case, send a reply back to Harvard saying that you don't want them to call you

Sorry for asking since I'm sure it's been discussed many times, but what has the wait between KB1 and KB2 (or rejection notification) been like recently. I haven't been following the thread but I'm curious since I have a KB1 coming up. Thanks!

A few days, a few weeks, or never. It's definitely been kind of varied, but I think KB was typically working on a 1-2 week schedule.

New to this forum, but I'm another late applier to Harvard (shortly before the 2/1 deadline) because of taking the LSATs for the first time in December. Is it unusual that I would not have heard any update (no holds, rejections, etc. - just under review) since a mid-February complete?

Any reports from today's KB1s? Mine is in a few hours and I'm trying to not vomit from the nerves.

Sorry to hear that Babar :(

Just got done with my KB1. She called a little over halfway into the time window. Very nice and personable :) She only asked two questions, What are you up to/what's taking up your time, and Tell me about your path to the law. I asked two questions, one she said she didn't have the answer to but she told me what she could. Strangely, I feel good about it :D

Good luck to all the other KB1s and those still waiting on their's!

Consensus on the hold thread today seemed to be "Director Buttenbaum."

No, I think it is normal you don't have to worry. I applied beg. of Jan and didn't had anything until 2 days ago.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
