Hate to say it fellas but based on the spreadsheet , those of still waiting are headed for the Wait list Hotel in hell. What a weak bunch we are

Does anybody know how the NYU waitlist works (or really waitlists in general)? Can you get rejected from a WL before the late summer? I'm debating whether or not it's a good idea to inform NYU that I plan to retake the LSAT in June.

looks like it was sent out Friday - so the ding should arrive sometime today or tomorrow. I shall wear my NYU rejection with pride (as it will erase the bad taste of that UVA rejection).

yeah, didn't notice the friday thing. so there is literally no hope of an acceptance with no ASW access for us. at least now I feel good about accepting my job! NYU, I'll get you next time, kiddo

it is LITERALLY ruining my life. I have to finish two chapters and write a conclusion, and all I can do is hate on NYU. It's so dumb because I know it's a wl/r but for some reason it's all I can think about

they email bad news. out of curiosity, are you a URM?

Anyone sent in a later, new LoR to NYU? How did you send it and what is the best way - via LSAC or directly from recommender to NYU admissions office? I am WL.

I can be considered URM - but not sure I will. I am not under the strictest of definitions

no sure what you mean. are you mexican, puerto rican, native american or african american? I'm only asking because I have a wack-job theory that they are dishing out stuff to URMs today.

URM with DLS. My status didn't update until today but the date is 4/6

Latino but not P. Rico or Mexico. Also DSL appears as 4/6 but it was not updated until today. What is your URM hypothesis?

well it seems everyone who has the mysterious DLS for friday that showed up today is a URM.. as far as I know, none of us can log into ASW, so unfortunately I'm not thinking happy thoughts this late in the cycle. but we should all know soon! (god willing)

Waitlist. I will stay on it
