I really lucked out with NYU...applied late in the cycle (end of January) and they called me on Valentines' Day (best v-day present ever? I think so). I was at the low end of the median LSAT range though so don't lose hope, people. I'm thinking it must be the fact that one of my majors is Chinese, and they are trying to emphasize their Chinese law stuff...or they needed some diversity from Oklahoma...because I got waitlisted at a TON of other T14s.

Hope to see you guys next year! :D

I SPEAK CHINESE NYU. FLUENT IN MANDARIN OK??? PRETEND PROFICIENT IN PIG LATIN AND SPANISH. I also speak the language of interpretive dance.

Also, Jam you WILL get off waitlists.

I speak French, Spanish, Pig Latin, BS, English, and Sarcasm fluently... They couldn't pick that up in my application? I think I am a winner :D

(2) I am willing to learn to speak NY train conductor too, provided I receive an NYU acceptance.

Hahah I guess my post isn't as funny out of context... I come from a country with a pretty sizable Gypsy minority and a very racist general population :D

But some tips on Gypsy-learning:
- Vodka does facilitate learning
- You need to be able to dance to accordeon music before you can speak Gypsy

Are you from France? Also, this learning process may fail for me. One shot of vodka = drunk times for me. Also, I have a very awkward sense of rhythm. Although this maaay work since I think the accordian is kind of an awkward instrument.

If you've filled out the FAFSA and NeedAccess forms you don't have to do anything else. They'll contact you with financial aid info whether or not you receive any merit money.

judging by the huge gap on the LSN graph, it seems like NYU waitlists a ton of people? I know someone a page or two back said that NYU tends to use their WL quite a bit-- does anyone know how big or small their WL is compared to other schools?

My last update was 12/15....were you held from ED?

And I think whether you get snail or e-mail depends on the decision. GL!
