does anyone who applied ED and whose app is "under review" have any indication (from status checker, email etc.) that their app is in fact for ED? Mine is UR but says nothing about materials received; my email with the status checker didn't indicate ED either. Thanks!

Specifically for NYU, how long does "under review" usually last until a decision is sent? Do they usually keep you under review for a few weeks, or can it take months?

Depends on when in the cycle you apply. Unless the process changes, you won't hear until at least December. For those of you applying now, if you are accepted it will likely be in December. If you don't hear in December you probably have <10% of acceptance, but definitely non-zero. Also, check the graph in the OP for more info.
