Also 11/7 and haven't heard back yet. I just got rolled over to RD at Columbia, regretted not EDing to NYU two days after sending out the ED contract. Hoping maybe tomorrow we will hear something from NYU!!!anewaphorist wrote:"Application under review" since 11/7.

Reposting this for the new page because I'm like that.Killingly wrote:Shit, I have 3 LOR in too (one was for RTK). Is that the max? I moved from a per-diem position to full time, should I tell them about that? Should I wait to send a LOCI until my transcript updates?quaker10 wrote:I'll write a LOCI as well (already have three LORs in)..
Wish I knew the answer to your question
Killingly wrote:Rolled. Better than a rejection/waitlist, I guess.
What are you guys going to submit for "additional materials?" I'm going to get another LOR and write a LOCI (what do you even put in one of these?).
Ahhhhhhhhh.

How does one submit additional LORs? Is this through LSAC, by mail, or by email?cactuarX3 wrote:also just got rolled over

I think the max LsOR is four. I submitted two academic and two professional.

Thank you. Does anyone know if I should get another academic, or use a professional one (my boss went to NYU undergrad and knows me better than the professor I would use)?Perdevise wrote:Killingly, I sent in four LoRs with my application (three academic and one for RTK).

Re: NYU Class of 2015 Applicants
Hey guys I was hoping I could get some of your opinions. I applied RD 3.2X, 176 and I recently went UR. However, I was hoping I could submit my fall grades (should be sent by my school sometime between 12/26-1/4) Based on how this semester went I should come out with a 3.33-3.39. Do you think my fall grades will get there in time for consideration? Thanks!

I went UR on 11/7 and the decision was made no more than four weeks later, so you probably still have time. Regardless, it won't hurt to send your grades, and it might help. So you should probably go ahead and get them sent as soon as you can.

Re: NYU Class of 2015 Applicants
ED application deferred today, and I'm actually kind of glad about it. My situation has changed a bit in the last month and so have my feelings have changed about living in NYC, so if I can pull of an ED to UVA I think that will be a better fit for me. Now let's just see if they'll take me at UVA this late in the game.
Good luck all!

Does NYU reject people ED? Or is everyone deferred to RD?
If the former, has this happened to anyone yet?

I'm still waiting to hear back, but I would love to hear other thoughts on this. I don't know...They have to notify everyone ED soon though, so there's that.quaker10 wrote:Does NYU reject people ED? Or is everyone deferred to RD?

Submitted 10/25 and stuck at 11/7. Guessing that means waitlist or rejection

you're a lock for UVA ED. I would wait to see how the cycle turns out and apply closer to UVA's ED deadlineTim0thy222 wrote:ED application deferred today, and I'm actually kind of glad about it. I already submitted the UVA ED app though, and I'm pretty happy about it. HYSCC obviously isn't happening, and between MVPB, I think UVA is my favorite. It would have been nice to see what happened with Michigan, which I would've visited before making a decision between the two, but oh well. I think even with my LSAT score, my odds with the UVA ED get shakier at the cycle goes on because of my GPA, so I'm better off locking it down now. That is, if I haven't already missed the boat on their ED splitter love.

Re: NYU Class of 2015 Applicants
IDK, they're pretty cool about timing there and with your LSAT score, I don't think timeliness matters. You would've been in position for some money at M (though with what they're doing to high LSATers right now, I really don't know)Tim0thy222 wrote:Wow, that's a really good idea.JamMasterJ wrote:you're a lock for UVA ED. I'd be sooo happy at Mich if NYU doesn't work out, but I'm still gonna fight like hell for my purple envelope.
