Edit: It also seems like they found out via the asw 2 days after they went dls, or they just got the purple envelope in the mail- I don't know if this is because NYU didn't do phone calls last year or what.

If I have to wait until Thursday for a decision...idk if I'll survive. Pleeeeeeeease tomorrow

The wave seems large for the ED crowd with less (comparative) movement for the RD crop. I'm thinking it's semi-likely that the ED crop is a batch of the same decision. It seems like decisions have come out in batches by decision type, but that seems more a trend than a rule.

I counted 3 RD and 4 held-ED DLS. Maybe it's a mixed batch? But I still think wait lists could happen.

so is it true that no held EDers with DLS today received either a phone call nor an email? seems like there were about 3 or 4 of us so it's probably not a representative sample anyway...

No DLS people today reported any contact from NYU. Someone should call tomorrow.

RD=Regular Decision. As opposed to ED which = Early Decision.
