Sigh. Last two days = splitter WLs? And today = reverse splitter WLs??

I suppose this makes sense from an admissions standpoint. WL the splitters and reverse splitters so that you can plug # gaps in your incoming class.

Ya, beats me how I was left untouched during these intense WL waves. NYU why must you cling to me-- I am numerically not what you are looking at in an applicant. put me out of my misery!!!

Well, here is a URM splitter about to withdraw and go to Texas. I got $75,000 from NYU so whoever you are that takes my splitter-urm spot

make sure to ask for your $75000..

I'd be super surprised if you didn't get off a WL, but if you don't, what are you planning on doing?

Probably EDing to NYU and adding Cornell, GULC, Vandy, and maybe a couple others to my list. ED NYU is the closest to a T6 lock I can think of. Hopefully I don't have to wait a year though. That would really suck

Hope for your sake, JMJ, that you don't have to wait a year. Looking at that path though, maybe some more work experience would really be helpful for both admissions and post LS employment, so there's always a bright side. How far out of undergrad are you, if at all?

It is starting to seem like work experience is playing an increased role at more schools.

Only a year out, but my job isn't exactly a strong point, since I knew I was only going to be out for a year. I would need to find something a bit better if I'm gonna be stuck waiting for another year. I really don't want to think about that stuff. Luckily, I'm held or waitlisted at 5 schools I'd be ecstatic to attend, as well as a few that I'd be cool with going to. May the odds be ever in my favor
