Accepted today via status checker and access to the accepted students webpage. No phone call. I submitted 1/26 and went under review 2/8.

So, I've been under review at NYU since mid October.... anyone else enduring a similar wait? Is it time to send a LOCI? My numbers are fringy at NYU. Not a hail mary, but a probable waitlist, so I'd think they would know I will attend if I'm admitted.

I'm with you here. I'm in November. I'm expecting a wl/ding to be honest, but I was hopeful for a reach if they counted me as unique with my major and softs. Until the ding comes, I'm going to keep on hoping. I sent an e-mail update (not quite a LOCI but along the lines of my most recent grades should be arriving shortly and I included relevant thesis work that shows up on there along with closing on how interested I am) and they e-mailed me back saying they updated my application.

sent a mini LOCI with an updated resume a couple weeks ago. I think if I go another week, I'll write a full Why NYU

Going on LSN gives me renewed hope... I'm a non-AA URM... lower than I'd like LSAT, but great GPA... UR since 1/23, and DESPERATELY hoping for some love.

Ugh, Jealous. I'm PR and there don't seem to be many non-AA URMs successfully applying to NYU (with at all comparable stats) .. at least as far as last year goes.

Anyone else hoping for some acceptances tomorrow. Looking at the stats on last years LSN there seems there was a wave on the 17th. I'm median numbers for both GPA and LSAT, UR since 1/5. Fingers crossed. Good luck to everyone else holding out hope.

I've been under review since 12/22 with a below average LSAT, excellent GPA, and some interesting/strong softs. Am I screwed? WL or rejection on the way at this point? At what point do I send an LOCI without looking desperate?

Lawhaus, if your status checker says DLS, you can find out if you're in by going to the accepted students' page. If you can sign in, you've been accepted.

Lawhaus, if your status checker says DLS, you can find out if you're in by going to the accepted students' page. If you can sign in, you've been accepted.

yes, but if you can't sign in, it doesn't mean you're out. They sometimes update ASW later in the day
