This sucks. If I won't know when I go complete, how will I know that I went complete in time to make the ED deadline? If I'm under review before/on the 15th?

I feel like NYU is poking at my heart with a metal rod. I feel so in the dark... I just would like to know if my ED contract has been received/my app goes complete before the deadline..... submitted 10/17 and crickets... come on NYU

Seems to me like as long as we sent everything in on time we're fine, right?

I mean, we can see that everything they requested went through when we submit the app online. The only issue is the ED contract. I mailed it, I don't know what you guys did. Maybe if it hasn't gone complete by the 10th or 11th we could call and confirm that the ED contract was received?

I actually sent mine registered so I could track it, thinking that it would give me peace of mind- it was signed for two mondays ago. You'd think this would reassure me but of course I'm still freaking out

You could get deferred to RD

The status checker will change to Decision Finalized (I think that's the term they use, don't remember for sure though). Then you'll receive a purple envelope in the mail with your acceptance. That's at least how it happens in December. The later in the process it gets the more variation there is. That's something that holds true with most schools.
