Re: Splitters unite! 2011-2012 Cycle
Update. ~3.2 and 169/175:
Rejected: Chicago, UC-Berkley, Michigan
Waitlist: Penn
Accepted: GW, Georgetown, UVA
Pending: Cornell (deferred EA), NYU, Columbia, Stanford, Duke, NU, WUSTL, UCLA, USC
Not getting at least a WL from Michigan is the only real disappointment so far. Things do seem to be going a bit slower this cycle though.

no that isn't a split by any measure.

Re: Splitters unite! 2011-2012 Cycle
I've already applied 14 schools this semester. I don't think my wallet could take another hit. I guess I should add I don't have the best softs, and went to median NY state school. I've taken the LSAT twice, first was a cancel.Dr. Filth wrote:Retake!hoos89 wrote:barbaraeliz wrote:Not sure if I quite count as a splitter:

Re: Splitters unite! 2011-2012 Cycle
It's really a 3.6X and with the LSAT it's technically a splitter (under 25th GPA with over 75th LSAT)hoos89 wrote:since when are 3.7s splitters?Curious1 wrote:My cycle is finally over with a Stanford Ding, but here are the rest:

Re: Splitters unite! 2011-2012 Cycle
That's a pretty subjective standard... but I will agree that a 3.7 may be a splitter for HYS and Uchicago, but nowhere else...hoos89 wrote:To me splitter is cutoff at the point where you're able to get into Harvard and not be a URM. pretty happy with UVA. Strong chance I'll go there

Reminder: Read the OP.
request: No debating on what makes a splitter. I'd like to avoid the bloodbath that happened in last year's splitter thread.
