Never received first waitlist letter Forum

I received the initial waitlist letter on May 16th, but I never received the first letter of continued interest. On Tuesday July 5th, I received my first letter of continued interest after everyone had received their first one about a month ago. Was that a mistake or what? Anybody with a similar experience or answer?

A letter of continued interest is generally the term used to mean what you send to the school, but I understand your question.

Th answer is that this happens a lot. When schools ask for continued interest they don't always send it to the entire waitlist pool.
