Maintaining a wait list

Post by jarofsoup » Wed Apr 27, 2011 9:24 pm

I am wait listed at about four schools all of which I would rather go to than the ones I have been admitted to.

I have written LOCIs, but what do I do now? When do I write another? How often do I contact them?

Thank you

Every three or four weeks or if something significant (new high grades etc..) happens.

what you should do is determine the order of preference for these schools. Are there any school that you would absolutely go to- or are you still unsure? If you are unsure- then I would take a look at where you want to go- and what you need to do to get you there. Dont go to a school that you are not totally dead set about. There is no shame in giving the cycle another shot- especially if you applied late.
