Calling won't help. A LOCI will maybe, maybe, maybe help if you are right on the borderline.
At this point I doubt the benefit of sending a loci. Maybe in a few months when people legitimately decide they aren't going to hls if they get in off the waitlist. Most of us are fucked anyways, so who cares.
Agreed. There might be a small amount of movement next week--but, yes, most of are SOL at this point.
Why next week?

wouldn't there also be a wave due to people let in off of the waitlist at yale who leave spots open at harvard? or is that not so much a wave as a single lucky person?

Ugh. This silence is discouraging.

If by f'ed you mean: going to our choice of many T10 options with $ then yeah I guess so 8)

Still I would love to see some movement in here...

This is one of the many wait lists I'm on. But with that said isn't Harvard's graduation this week? You think he'd make calls during that?

I'm actually shocked there was no movement at all this week.

Maybe next week? I'm afraid they're completely full at this point and we can only depend on the slow trickle of the Yale/Stanford waitlist to grab spots from Harvard at this point.

So our only hope is that some of the people from this past week didn't commit? Yeah, it's over. But at least you all have other T14s.

Only recently got to reply/LOCI - probably took me out of the running. Good luck to everyone in the thread, maybe there will be enough spots for everyone :)

Received JR1 last week and JR2 this week. I think they may still have room as spaces become available.

Anybody know how soon I can complete housing app while waiting for my admissions packet? Where do most 1Ls live?

That's crazy. My friend was told that class was full. To my knowledge most 1Ls live on campus either in the dorms or through other HRES housing. Congrats!. There is a class of 14 thread that would probably be more helpful to you.

Odd that we didn't see that second wave of WL admits that years past saw. Everything up until last week followed the previous pattern fairly closely..

How often do you'll contact the admissions office?

I don't.

What do you expect? Class is full pending some people taking SLS or YLS over it. We'll see whenthe Stanford waitlist starts moving.

Just fyi someone I work with just got a JR1 yesterday. He said that JR told him they'll be making a couple offers by the end of this week. So there has been movement. I don't know him that well though, so I didn't feel comfortable asking him for stats. :(

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
