I got accepted off Tulane's wait list. Pumped!!

Now it's between Loyola-Chicago and Tulane. Yaay. What do I do?! I am still on the wait list of 2 very fine Midwest powerhouses. I hope everyone else's cycle is going well.

I have a question. I'm on the waitlist for both WUSTL and W&M... but, I'll be in Turkey between May 9 and May 23... what should I do? Do I tell them this before I go because it will be rather difficult to contact me in Turkey? Just wondering what you guys thought.

Definitely let them know that. It will make your life a lot easier so you don't accidentally miss the deadline for a response.

Not wishing to start an off-topic theme in this thread, so please feel free to PM to follow up, but it seems like you want to be in the Midwest from your other spread of schools. My advice: don't come to Tulane unless you want to stay in New Orleans.

In off the waitlist at American!! I wish I had a little more than 24 hours to make a decision, but I guess I'll have to make do. American was my number one choice from the start, but I've already committed to Villanova with 22k per year. I really want DC! We shall see.

I was placed on five waitlists (Maryland, Wake, Nova, Tulane and Rutgers-Newark) and actually received news from three already. Villanova accepted me about two weeks after, Tulane did after I sent a LOCI and updated resume and Wake ding'd me in what I presume was their first round of cuts. I negotiated Nova for some scholly money, so that's where I will be. For anyone on the Tulane waitlist just know that you will have one business day to commit or not.

But don't lose hope out on the waitlists. Now if I only could get my $500 back from Miami...

congrats on your acceptance...think on the bright side at least you heard from three out of five of the waitlists. Hopefully I'll be so lucky but who knows....

I got in off GW's waitlist yesterday. My LSAT was at their median, but my GPA was .7 below the median... so i'm very fortunate to be in. I visited the school, sent 2 LOCI, and kept in contact with the admissions board (they know me by name now).
