@Chimp: Trying to figure it out!!!

I've heard stories that the USC faculty is more entrenched in the entertainment industry, and that the Trojan Network is quite a serious advantage in LA... But I don't know if those two assets trump UCLA's slightly higher rank and lower tuition especially since they gave me a tiny bit of $.


What do you think?

I would personally go with UCLA considering that USC and UCLA are peer schools and UCLA is cheaper. I would go with the money here. Did UCLA offer you a scholly?

Disclaimer: I am on the USC waitlist.

Don't think I'm being biased though. If I could have my choice of UCLA or USC I would pick UCLA 10 times out of 10. Cheaper price, better location, higher rank, more national reach. However, UCLA outright rejected me :(

Me too! Welcome Classmate...

I think this is turning out to be an "unusual" cycle for many schools...

I had more money at a different school, but I'm thinking U of I is worth the extra investment. Let's hope I'm right.
