Just got another "small group" email from Sophia. Basically asking for a guarantee if offered. Wondering how many others did?

Did any of you who got the "even smaller group" email get an offer? Just got an update from Cornblatt that GULC is oversubscribed.

I hope you are enjoying your summer. As we promised in June, I'm
writing to keep you informed about the waiting list status at
Georgetown University Law Center. At this time, since we are
oversubscribed, we are unable to extend any offers. It is still
possible, however, that a few spaces will become available after our
tuition deadline on July 25.

Our next update will be August 1. I realize that we are now in July
and you may need to finalize your plans for the fall. However, I hope
you choose to remain on the waiting list, and of course, we will
continue to provide you with any new information. As always, please
keep us informed of your law school enrollment plans and any other
changes to your information.

Thank you for your continuing interest in Georgetown, and we will be
back to you by August 1.

Best,

Andy

That's so weird that you didn't get anything after first group--spam filter? Anyway, major congrats!

We are approaching the end of the summer and, as you may be aware, yesterday was our final deadline for the incoming class, our tuition deadline. We are still in the final stages of processing and receiving confirmation, but we expect to have a small handful of spaces. You are one of the applicants that the Committee has expressed interest in reviewing when they meet later this week. Given that we are less than a month away from orientation, the Committee is only interested in reviewing files of those that are prepared to attend Georgetown. To that end, we are contacting you and asking that you confirm you level of interest in being considered for one of these spaces at Georgetown. We will give you an update by Friday evening.

Warm regards,

Sophia Sim

Director of Admissions

Georgetown Law

L’95

Got this in the mail, which is weird because I sent them a letter saying I withdrew two weeks ago. Good luck to everyone that has been riding this ridiculous waitlist, they really like to lead you along.

Good luck TLS'rs.

Looks like they're still trying to pull up their LSAT median. You heading to Illinois, PlanQ?

This is nuts. I withdrew in March but I would not have tolerated all of this "small group" this and "we're reviewing your file again" that for the entire summer. I guess it does weed out all the only-sorta-interested, like me, but it still seems like an unprofessional and messy way to run a waitlist/admissions cycle. I feel sorry for those of you who endured it this long, and hope that you all have wonderful plans in place to take the sting off of this runaround.
