Sry norcal, I hadn't even looked at your UR date. But, I'm more referring to later January applicants. Of course everyone has the right to feel nervous and want their answers, but there's no reason to think the app has been lost, for example. When I see October/Nov applicants who haven't gotten responses I remind myself that my Dec. date means nothing.

We're all here because something kept us from being outright admitted, but something kept us from being outright rejected. Or outright waitlisted or CR'd. LOL

We've got that "something".

I mentioned this before but its worth mentioning again.

When I talked to the admissions office they said that my UR was actually later than the UR date listed on the status checker.

So... don't pay too close of attention to the status checker.

Yea. Given that Berkeley is a state school and that it's a state and federal holiday, I don't imagine we'll hear anything today.

He said, very politely and courteously, to just be patient.

I was so optimistic at one point but after going through the Berkeley 2010 thread... Not one person who was not CR past CR2 got accepted..... look through it its really scary. Worst part is they all got rejected the thursday and friday after CR1 was released which means tomorrow and friday. Please someone look through it and tell me i am wrong

Yep, everyone got rejected who wasn't CR last year at this time.

That said, they were calling it "getting "Yoo'd" which is kind of funny.
