Grats. Making 3 cuts is good I guess, right? Can't put "3rd Reserve at CLS" on your resume (well, I suppose you *could*, but you'd get laughed out of every interview), but it's...something.

As one of those on last year's 3rd reserve list, I can attest that no one on TLS said they got in. Many of us who had some type of connection also were informed that the class was way over-enrolled and they would not be taking people off the reserve last year. Maybe they did, but it was very few at most.

I talked to someone in the admissions office last Friday. He said that a large batch of "decision" letters went out that morning. But I feel like someone on TLS would have reported receiving a letter by now if that were the case....

Don't specifically remember getting one. It must have been end of August as class was starting.

I called today and flatly asked if decisions were going out for us third reserves. Guy on the phone said they were, and to expect something in the mailbox "very shortly."

I received a rejection in the mail today. I'm in Brooklyn, so it didn't have to travel far. The letter was dated August 16th.

Yeah, classes have begun, so I imagine that if you haven't heard by now, you're out. That said, I'm told the class is "Legal Methods" which is a two week or so P/F thing you take first. Since none of the substantive courses begin for another week or two, I suppose it is plausible for people to still be admitted this week. Theoretically...
