If I defer, can I apply to other schools after deferring?

Post by splitinfinitive » Fri Jan 28, 2011 3:38 pm

I have been admitted to a school that I most likely want to defer at for a year. Is it possible for me, after deferring, to re-take the LSAT and apply to other schools as well? (to try to re-take the lsat and get into a better school in my year off)

I deferred for a year, and one of the conditions of my deferral agreement was that I would not apply to other schools. I suppose you could retake the LSAT, but you would have to give up your spot in order to actually apply to other law schools.
