been checking all morning; status just changed 2/28. no e-mail...yet.

Last year's thread ended on Friday 2/26, so presumably, for better or for worse, everybody actually heard by the end of the month last year as promised by GULC...

I just saw a lot of varying waitlists-- everything from the preferred-preferred to the regular. On the plus side, seemed like a lot of people who were held got in off of the waitlists-- some from all 3.

I'm not holding my breath for an acceptance today, but if I'm waitlisted that makes things 10 times harder decision-wise than if they just reject me. Arg!

i would too... but from what i've gathered, i think deferred and held mean the same thing at this point in the game.

yeah, I have no idea. I don't pretend to be an expert, I just skimmed over last year's thread at some point, haha.

I also updated earlier this morning. I think its also important to remember that the held email only promised that a decision would be finalized today, not that you would receive that decision so anythings possible. Good luck everyone!

the email said a decision would be mailed no later than today, but i agree-anything is possible!

the previous round (what was that like a week ago?) was all waitlists, right? hopefully it's not all rejections this time

I just looked back and there were a few waitlists and alot of rejections the last day. They started getting decisions around 3pm.
