Does that mean that you go a hold, or are you still forgotten?

Doesn't seem like anyone's gotten news the last two days. I'm just judging from the fact that there were JR1 e-mails on the 13th and the 20th, but we should see some tomorrow if they aren't having snow issues as well. (He seems to send them out on Thursdays lately.)

Here's to good luck with more JR1s tomorrow! Though I still think we won't see much movement till February.

I hope so (about the JR1s not the not hearing until February). We're a pretty awesome group, we all deserve JR1s.

Seeing people with stats like you being forgotten or waitlisted (in other cases) just makes me feel really great about my chances.

Hello friends. Complete since 11-10, Under Review since 11-19. All I ask at this point is that they at least send a letter of rejection, and not an email.

So disappointing. With a title like that, this thread should have been about unemployed Harvard c/o 2011. MISLEADING.

Yep!
JR wrote:I am sorry to report that, after full and careful consideration, the Admissions Committee has denied your application for admission to Harvard Law School.

During this admission season, over 7,000 candidates are applying for spots in an entering class that is limited to 560 students. A large majority of these applicants have demonstrated strong academic preparation for law school and the ability to contribute significantly to the quality of our student body. As a result, we must select a class that we believe to be the very best from an outstanding pool and deny admission to many candidates whom we would like to have at Harvard. Denials of admission are neither negative estimates of potential for the study of law nor absolute assessments of candidates' achievements. Rather, they are the inevitable result of many attractive candidates for comparatively few spaces in our class.

Thank you for your interest in Harvard Law School, and best wishes for your education and career plans.

Sincerely,

Josh Rubenstein
Assistant Dean and Chief Admissions Officer
