I don't think it's a problem, but you could remove the contact info just to be on the safe side.

philly, maybe they only e-mailed people that sent in LOCIs. I 'actively' withdrew, so, of course, I did not receive the e-mail.

Good luck to the people that got the e-mail. I hope it turns out well!

I sent the essay and did not get the email. Everyone who has reported getting it has auto-admit stats. I think us borderline candidates just have to wait.

I also submitted a LOCI and didn't receive the email yesterday. I'm definitely a borderline splitter, but FWIW I've been accepted at NYU.

Didn't send in a LOCI and received the email. And I don't exactly have auto-admit stats.

Checking in... no e-mail for me also though I sent LOCI.
Splitter numbers.
You are still in WL r6, but I guess we are not their first choices.

I never responded so I thought I was out. But I checked my status and I am still on it. Well I knew I wasn't their first choice (or second or third) lol

If you got money at NYU and you want to work in NYC, stay at NYU.

Thanks! No money at NYU and I would be happy to work in either New York or Chicago. I am going to visit UChicago this Friday and Saturday and attempt to speak to current students.

Make sure you talk to the admissions office - they're super nice and helpful and might be able to set you up with people to talk to! Good luck in the decision.

Thank you all so much! I will definitely contact the Admissions office and see what they can help me with in terms of setting up a visit. Also I was a babbling idiot on the phone with Dean Perry so I'm sure that was super helpful...

Also, for recent admits, if you're worried about being late to the housing game, all the apartment places I've looked in Hyde Park have told me to wait until July-ish to find a place, so you definitely won't be scrambling to find housing or anything. (I know at some other schools people have housing lined up already.)

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
