Man, Harvard has fallen off of the map lately--maybe it's the snow.

But, looking through last year's held at Harvard thread, I think we are probably in for a very long wait. And a good chunk of us are going to be waitlist-bound.

Sorry to bump this thread, but I came across this on LSN that should give us some hope

http://lawschoolnumbers.com/uptowngirl

I'm not sure if she is on TLS, but she was UR in early Oct (I assume she was held as well), got a JR1 on 1-19, and a JR2 on 1-24...

She also got SLS, so it's likely she has very strong softs, so this is probably more applicable to you than most of us :P.

Checking in. Pleasantly surprised by the hold. I thought I was one of those "go directly to the WL, do not pass go, do not collect $200.00" people.

This is when I grind my teeth cursing most of the scholastic honors for not taking old people like me.

I kind of wish we had one of Dulc's spreadsheets so we could all stare at the high numbers and feel relieved .... or be deluded into doing so :) .

The higher the numbers get that join this thread, the smaller my hope of making it out of this hold in a positive manner becomes. Soooo...no.

Any JR1s recently? I flew out to attend a couple seminars at HLS last week and meet with a couple professors I know. I hand delivered my LOCI to the Admissions office, but they were short with details about how things would progress.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
