Seattle University 2011
I may be the only person here who's interested in this school, but I got in today via a packet in the mail. Also, offered a 15k/yr scholarship, conditional on top 25% grades.
I'm not ready to make any decisions yet (still haven't heard from UW, UCLA, and lots of other schools) but I'm very happy with this offer.
Anyone else applying?

Yeah, I'm going to try to negotiate away that top 25% stipulation.JakeL wrote:I hope to be admitted. Are you going to try to negotiate that scholly?

Sounds wise to me. That top 25% sounds doable, but a lot of pressure...

In with $10k annual Presidential scholly top 25% stipulation. Quite pleased but still holding out for UW.

Aim higher! With that amazing LSAT, you deserve to be somewhere better or at least get more money and looser stipulation i.e. top 50% and at least 25k/year sounds more like it!
You should be able to get at least 15k/year from several T30s

Yea, geez, I didn't see your numbers. Considering how expenisive SU is, that's not very generous IMO. Negotiate for more. Maybe they think there's no way your going to attend anyways and just want to test your interest...RebelRebel wrote:Aim higher! Umm. I don't get it. My LSAT was horrible. Are you being rudely sarcastic? I wasn't expecting much this cycle, but a rejection from anywhere still hurts a little.

oh. Quoting people doesn't hurt if referring to someone specific. Just a thought.

Re: Seattle University 2011
How soon did you guys get your status checker? I sent in my app+fee on friday. I've been complete for awhile except for a second letter of rec that is taking unusually long to get to the LSAC. I may contact my teacher today as it's been about two weeks since she said she sent it in.
I'm hoping to get that status indicator email asap.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
