Sabs, what are you doing there now for grad school?
I'm working on a MAcc in Taxation, I graduate in April. I know I could have done the JD/MAcc at BYU but last April I oversaw a political campaign and had my politician won, I would have dropped out of school altogether. So, when she lost, only then could I start planning on law school.

I read through that whole facebook thing today. I enjoyed "Did you hear than Jimmer is suing NBC for copyright infringement? The name of his arms is Law & Order"

My favorite; "Michelle, if you want to personally express your feelings to The Jimmer, you can email him at gmail@thejimmer.com"

It's like poetry

I would say it would've been a slam dunk, but as we all know, that's The Jimmer's kryptonite

I just called the admissions office. GaeLynn said that the admissions committee has not met in the last 2 weeks and will not meet again until next week. She said that there have been a lot of things going on and they have not been able to get together. So it looks like the theories that Jimmer Mania is hindering the process might be right, after all. Maybe next week the ball will get rolling again.

Finally got my packet today. Was accepted a few weeks ago. Really nice packet. First time I've gotten a letter from the dean where the actual typewritten portion was personalized (not just a form letter with a handwritten sentence at the bottom). BYU's really winning me over. No scholly, but it's still a good price.

Pretty general. I think the holdup was the acceptance letter cause it is dated 22 Feb whereas the other things are dated 4 Feb.

It just had an acceptance letter, a letter explaining the contents of the packet, the standard blue BYU law info packet, a detailed course catalog, a talk by Pres Faust of the LDS church on lawyers, a magazine called Clark Memorandum, a packet from career services, a letter from the financial aid office, and a notice of intent form.

I'm pretty sure it's the thickest packet I've received.

I agree on the packet. I received mine a couple weeks ago and really did like the small additions in the letter that were specific to me. I really like how they do these things, as small as they are.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
