Admitted 2/17. Packet was mailed, and the status checker said scholly info would be emailed soon.

Did you receive your email yet? I was accepted via status checker yesterday and mine said the same thing. I'm just wondering how long until the email comes.

No. I almost called yesterday, but I figured the letter would reach me by monday so I didn't really care. All the email would probably say is congrats anyways, nothing of importance. The status checker did have the dates for the admitted students weekend (april 2-3) so I booked a flight because I need to visit schools before I decide.

What is the most appropriate way to withdraw?

I'm not sure, but my plan was to call the admissions office during office hours and ask them what I should do. Calling them will probably be all it takes.

I withdrew before my decision just by email and they were very nice about it and said that that's all they needed. It was actually pretty refreshing since other schools I've withdrawn from try and make me feel guilty for leaving and ask what it would take for me to stay, but Samford was really professional.

So I went under review about a week and a half ago and I know it says 2-4 weeks for a decision. I was wondering if it took you all closer to 2 or 4 weeks for the decision to be reached...

I received my letter of admission in the mail today, which included scholarship information. I am set to interview in March for a scholarship between $15,000 and $30,000 with a $5,000 one-time stipend. I'm really glad I applied and did not withdraw from Samford now.

Accepted on 2/23 through status checker. Admission Letter is on the way via snail mail.

Mine wasn't emailed, but it took a few days for the letter. Letter had scholly info for me (interview) and all the necessary info is on the acceptance letter concerning deposits and orientation.
