When are admissions offices closed for the winter break?

Post by BackToTheOldHouse » Tue Dec 14, 2010 7:34 pm

The title says it ALL. I am just trying to figure out on which days to have butterflies in my stomach and on which days to relax.

NO ALL! (random Descendents reference--yes, I know I am an old nerd)

I would imagine most are open for the majority of break. That said, I doubt you'll see much movement regarding the status of your application. This is probably a great time for them to just hunker down and review apps.

UMinn page right before the status checker says Dec 24 - Jan 2. I dunno if you can generalize that to the population writ large but there it is for UMN.

You want them to be well rested when reading your app, don't you? A bitter admission council is a bad thing.

I work in an admissions office at a community college (open enrollment so we don't review applications) and we are also close from Dec. 22 - Jan. 2
