PLEASE DON'T!!! You're walking a really thin line on whether or not we'll be study buddies should we end up at the same school. Don't ruin it!r6_philly wrote:If you want me to convince you not to go, I'd be happy to.law_monkey wrote:

Some people are immune to children. Not me personally, but one of my roommates is Satan's spawn and you can practically see darts coming out of her eyes every time a child is nearby.r6_philly wrote:Pssstttt I will bring my boy to school and have him do the work making good.law_monkey wrote: PLEASE DON'T!!! Has anybody admitted last week received their portfolio? I'm sure it'll take a while to arrive - just curious. Thanks.

How long do you guys think we're supposed to make the Toll essays? All they say is that they encourage brevity, which makes me think max two pages double spaced each, but more likely one page each?

Re: IN AT UPENN
They said the same thing for the Levy, and I'm shooting for about two pages. The Darrow invite emails apparently have theirs at around 500 words. So I don't think you need to cut it down to a single (double-spaced) page...

Re: IN AT UPENN
I'll be at the NYC Reception! Excited to meet everyone!
Also, I am just getting more and more excited about Penn. Their portfolio has done an amazing job of making the clinics, the courses and the city look more appealing than I though previously.
For others who are considering Penn and want to do public interest law, what is your thought process? I had sort of discounted Penn because they're not known for PI, but their variety of clinics and courses is changing my mind a little bit. I haven't done my comprehensive comparison of everyone's LRAPs yet, but theirs doesn't look bad. I also liked their clerkship numbers for recent graduates. Anyone else looking at these things and/or have a different perspective?

I'm going to do PI stuff! I've looked into their LRAP. It's not super amazing, but it's not awful either. If you PM me your e-mail I can send you a graph thingy I made of LRAPs. I'm really interested in their clinics & their tonnnns of courses (as well as some cross-disciplinary stuff), so Penn is definitely way more on my horizon now than it was a few months ago.Excellence = a Habit wrote:I'll be at the NYC Reception!
