I didn't see a thread of this type anywhere yet, and I thought it would be cool to see who on TLS has gotten the amazing Dean Deal call, and also just talk about how awesome Stanford is.

It's really unfortunate that I'm spending finals week thinking about Stanford nonstop, but also kind of fun, hahaha.

Yeah, I'm really impressed by Munger. It would be a huge step up from the on-campus accommodations I'm used to, haha.

I wonder how it fits into the estimated student budget.

I'd honestly hadn't spent too much time looking at SLS before wednesday (didn't think I had a chance ), but Munger looks amazing- nicer than the nicest apartments around my current UG. Paolo Alto looks very cool too, 40 degrees in January is unbelievable...

I'm so excited to be in this thread right now!

Is there anyone who hasn't gotten the packet yet? I'm back home in CT and haven't received anything yet. I'm really excited about the t-shirt though!

I think I saw on some other SLS thread from last year that someone who wears an XL got a medium...so I'm guessing they aren't facebook stalking us but instead everyone is just getting mediums!

Hey guys, I just found out that I got in this morning, and to say the least, I am extremely excited. I have spent a fair amount of time at Stanford before, and let me assure you that all the amazing things you hear about it are true (Palo Alto is another story).

me too! it's definitely the best acceptance package i've seen yet. the handwritten note from dean deal is nice too.

i just booked tickets to go visit SLS during my spring break in March! So excited.

I didn't know this thread existed! Can't wait for my package to arrive (I'm halfway across the world right now!), although the Medium shirt might pose a problem. But that's one I'm willing to get over!

I guess I'll be seeing everyone at ASW, which if I remember from the call (and trust me, I don't remember much more than trying not to scream "OhmyGodOhmyGodOhmyGod") is on April 8th?

I deferred for Teach For America. Now I'll be in the Class of 2014. I'm definitely looking forward to it!
