Hah, wtf. I chose FT, and I got 5k a year... I have better numbers too. I am going to withdraw. I felt insulted.

I think its because I have "high" numbers compared to the part-time program. I contacted the office and they said that their median LSAT for pt is 153, and their 75% is 155. The numbers in the full-time program are prolly higher. I think the median for their full time program is 157/158. its either that or its because im an over represented minority.

I received the email as well. I don't plan on attending, but I want to see what the acceptance letter has scholarship wise. If its big, it could sway me.

From what others have said ITT, large scholly's are hard to come by. Like you, it is not high on my list. But if the money is right, I'll play ball.

Yeah, 5000 certainly won't cut it. I think full scholarship, which they do offer to some, would be the only thing. Free law school can't be passed up.

Did anyone apply for the dean's fellow scholarship? I wish they would announce the finalists before the middle of march!

That money is certainly right. I would be seriously interested in QU if I got that sort of deal. The campus seems amazing, the student faculty ratio is low, and it seems to be a highly regarded school for a USNWR third tier.
With that said, I would be concerned about OCI and employment prospects in general (But that is true for most of the T2 and T3 schools).

Yes I am concerned about too. I've been accepted to UConn (obviously I want to go to school in CT) as well, but I am out-of-state and got no scholly from them. It's pretty much down to those two, and although job prospects would be better at UConn, I'm basically looking at 5k/year (QU) vs. 45k/year (UConn). And 105k is a lot to walk away from.

Well congratulations on such a great offer. I've only heard back from a few schools thus far, but I'll be anxious to see what QU offers in the way of a scholarship. If its significant, like yours, I think they are a very compelling choice.

You can gain residency easily after your first year at UConn. Also, if you are in some neighboring states you qualify for reduced tuition. Check it all our before you make your decision. Best of luck! I hope I get into UConn PT!

well the dean said if i go part time, I get 8k. but if i go full time, I get 15k. try emailing the dean and maybe he'll change it? He was really nice about everything. imma wait for uconn. I think i'm going to try to email him to see if he might increase it a little bit.

Acceptance letter came today, 30k scholarship per year contingent on satisfactory academic progress. They just became a very compelling choice.

congratulations. I have been hearing most people received 5 to 15, but 30 is great. If you don't want to post your numbers here, would you mind pm'ing them to me? I applied as a safety, and was accepted, but if I received a deal like that, I would seriously consider. Just waiting on my letter.

Yeah, I'm pretty excited about this. Of course I'm hoping for a t1 acceptance, haven't gotten one yet, but I have applied to enough schools and I think one will bite.
30,000 dollars is a great deal though, and it makes the prospect of going to Quinnipiac, a school that I like for a number of reasons, a lot less daunting. I actually am favoring this over my t2 acceptances thus far.

In with 25k per year
Probably will withdraw. From what i have gathered, job prospects are almost non-existent.

In today via email. From what I gather scholarship info comes in the mail. Like others said this was a low safety school so in order for me to attend it would take serious money. However, this is my first acceptance in the cycle so I am glad to start it off on a good note.

In today. Got an email.
I've heard decent things about the school as far as T3s are concerned. Seems to place well within the general region.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
