Regular Decision. Non-URM.

Good-luck (especially to those in Berkeley and Penn CR)!

The criteria:
An LSAT between 165 and 169.
An LSAC UGPA above 3.80 (lowered from 3.85 by popular demand).
I PM'd you, Ialdabaoth.

Re: Calling All Semi-Reverse Splitters
Maybe Flips just meant really good numbers for this thread. I'm thinking like 169, ~4.0+ would be pretty amazing for any school except YH. Either way though, again, congrats!neonx wrote:Thanks for speaking for me. But actually, I'm completely a semi.Flips88 wrote:IIRC, he's not much a semi-splitter at all. Which if I remember correctly is about what he's working with. I'm not knocking him or anything, just saying he shouldn't be too surprised that he got into NYU and Penn and such. I wish I had those few extra pts on the LSAT working for me, but I don't and my cycle remains wholly unpredictable.Ialdabaoth wrote:

123kl, congrats, that's awesome! I wasn't meaning to imply that 169/4.0+ made YH impossible, just more difficult than mid-170s.

At least their decisions are predictable (all on Friday; calls in the morning; WL/dings after 4.)

Re: Calling All Semi-Reverse Splitters
167 / 3.85 here with little luck so far: denied at Virginia, held at Harvard, on reserve at Columbia, wait-listed at Chicago...it seems that my numbers are just low enough to get me rejected by the mid-T14 while my softs are just strong enough to give me false hope at getting into the schools at the top. Ah, well

Re: Calling All Semi-Reverse Splitters
Hi friends,
I just got some new decisions (USC, Duke) for the thread. Tryin' to keep the spirit alive in this thread!
Admitted to: Iowa, Minnesota, BU, Emory, Illinois, WUSTL, USC, UCLA, Texas, Georgetown, Duke, Virginia, Michigan, Penn, NYU, Columbia
Submitted in late November; complete early December, almost uniformly.
Regular Decision for all applications. Non-URM.
I'm waiting for more decisions and financial aid/scholarship packages before choosing.

Re: Calling All Semi-Reverse Splitters
Well, I've heard back from several schools now, so I thought I'd share...
Accepted:
Berkeley (yay!)
UCLA
George Washington
Boston University
Waitlisted:
Virginia
Duke
Georgetown
Pending:
Stanford (wishful thinking!)
Michigan
I submitted my applications in early December. I guess it's nice to be hearing back, even if it's some waitlists!

Re: Calling All Semi-Reverse Splitters
Congrats to everyone! Im a semi-reverse splitter-3.88/168 and it seems like the schools I thought I had a good shot at and would love to go to (UCLA/Cornell/etc) the people with my numbers who got in have amazing softs. Im in awe of their hard work, stage in life and the struggles that they went through, but I must admit, I'm feeling super unconfident about my cycle-this coming fall. I'm pretty...average compared to you all. D=

Re: Calling All Semi-Reverse Splitters
167 / 3.84 (numbers tweaked for obvi reasons)
Admitted to:
Columbia, NYU [Root-Tilden-Kern finalist], Penn, Michigan, Virginia, Duke, Northwestern, Cornell, Georgetown, UT, UCLA, USC [Rothman finalist], WUSTL, Minnesota, BU, Illinois, Iowa, Emory [Woodruff finalist]
Regular Decision. Non-URM.
Unfortunately, my cycle is not over. I'm still waiting on three decisions and two waitlists. This wait is actually miserable.

Haha to be honest, I think I got really lucky. I don't know what they liked about my application.. it might be because of my unusual background in science, and interest in doing a joint JD-MPHTheFactor wrote:Congrats on an awesome cycle!kak5n wrote:Cycle is finalllllllly over, so I can post my final update!
